What type of training do your guards go through?

A.

Our Guards go through an extensive set of training sessions before they are placed. This includes training on: Authority of a Security Officer, Community Relations, Conflict Resolution, Crime Scene Preservation, Homeland Security, Use of Force, Self Defense,Patrolling, Firearms Safety and much more. You can read more about our training here.

What certifications do you require for your Security Guards?

A.

Our Guards are required to go through a basic background check to obtain a Security Guard Permit. Each city has their own requirements regarding permits but we always do a background check as a part of our employment screening.

What requirements do you have for your Security Guards?

A.

All Security Officers (Non-Sworn) must meet and maintain the following requirements:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalency
  • Be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • Possess valid state identification or a driver's license
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an Unarmed Private Security Guard License through the City of Kansas City
  • The ability to write and print legibly
  • The ability to deal with the general public
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
  • The ability to maintain poise under stressful situations
  • Drug free
  • Two (2) employment references
  • Three (3) personal references

How much do your security services cost?

A.

This will be determined by the services you need and whether it requires an Unarmed Guard or an Off Duty Armed Sworn Officer, if it's a one-time event or a year-long contract. We customize each security plan to our client's needs. Please call our office at 913-621-8668 to discuss in more detail.

We are committed to reducing crime and improving safety in our community by working with the Downtown Shareholders of KCK and the Community Service Program through the Clean and Safe Program of the Downtown KCK SSMID. We are proud to work alongside community organizations and local police departments to help reduce crime and improve the quality of life for our residents. Our Guards are specifically trained to be visual and physical deterrents to crime. When patrolling, we report graffiti, code violations and trash violations, all of which can lead to and encourage crime. We also have memberships with and support the initiatives of many local organizations. We are very involved in community events and efforts to reduce crime and revitalize Downtown Kansas City, Kansas.
